A Recent clinical trial comparing the Derma Roller and IPL for the treatment of Scars found Micro needling to be more effective than IPL. The results of the clinical trial demonstrated that the Derma roller increased the thickness of the skin compared to IPL as well as significantly increasing collagen type 1 and overall collagen deposits in comparison to IPL.
